Evolution Xpresso Zero Rollator
The lightest Xpresso, for anyone who lifts their rollator into a car regularly.
Why this one
Lightest in the range
The lightest Xpresso, which matters because a rollator too heavy to lift into a car gets left at home.
Who does the lifting
The lifting is usually done by the user or an equally unsteady spouse, so every pound counts.
For frequent car use
Choose on weight first if the rollator is loaded into a car several times a week.
Know the trade-off
A lighter frame usually means lower capacity, so a heavier user should look at an HD model instead.
21 inch seat height
A 21 inch seat height, with handle height adjusting separately to the wrist crease.
ADP funded
A funded device under the Assistive Devices Program for eligible Ontario residents, subject to criteria.
About this product
The Xpresso Zero is Evolution's lightest Xpresso, with a 21 inch seat height.
Weight is the whole point
A rollator only helps if it gets used, and the commonest reason one gets left at home is that it is too heavy to lift into a car.
That lifting is usually done by the person with the mobility problem, or by a spouse who is not much steadier. Every pound matters, and a lighter frame is often what decides whether someone keeps going out or gradually stops.
If the rollator is loaded and unloaded several times a week, choose on weight before anything else.
What you give up
Lighter frames generally mean a lower weight capacity and sometimes a less padded seat. That is a fair trade for someone of average build who values portability, and the wrong trade for a heavier user, who should look at the Stella HD or Nitro HD instead.
Tell us the user's weight and we will confirm this frame suits before you order.
Fit
A 21 inch seat height. Sit on it: feet flat on the floor, knees at roughly a right angle. Handle height adjusts separately and should sit at the crease of your wrist with your arms relaxed at your sides.
What Type 3 means
Larger wheels for real terrain. The Ontario Assistive Devices Program describes the Type 3 wheeled walker as most suitable for active use on most terrains, so this is an outdoor rollator despite the light frame.
Funding
Type 3 rollators are funded devices under the Assistive Devices Program for eligible Ontario residents, subject to clinical criteria.
