Stay Active with Stability & Support
Help Mobility offers a range of walkers and rollators designed to provide reliable support for walking, standing, and moving safely. Whether you're recovering from surgery or need daily assistance, our mobility aids help you stay independent and on the move.
A walking aid is usually the first piece of equipment someone needs and the one that keeps them out of a wheelchair the longest. Getting the right type — and the right height — makes the difference between a device that gets used and one that ends up in a cupboard.

Choose What Fits You Best
Standard Walkers
Lightweight and sturdy, ideal for indoor use. The frame is lifted and placed with each step, which gives maximum stability — the right choice when balance is the main concern.
Two- & Four-Wheel Rollators
Easy to maneuver, with built-in seats and hand brakes. Four-wheel rollators roll continuously rather than being lifted, which suits people who can walk but tire quickly or need somewhere to rest.
Height Adjustable & Foldable
Convenient for travel and storage, and adjustable so the handles sit at the right height — roughly at wrist level when standing upright with arms relaxed.
Walker or Rollator?
The two are often used interchangeably in conversation, but they suit different needs.
If balance is unsteady and the user needs to lean weight on the frame. Because it doesn't roll, it won't move away unexpectedly.
Standard walkers also suit tight indoor spaces.
If the user walks reasonably well but tires quickly or needs to sit and rest. The wheels keep momentum, and the seat means a walk doesn't have to be cut short.
Four-wheel rollators handle outdoor pavement and longer distances better.
A rollator without properly working hand brakes is a hazard, which is why service is part of every rental. Describe how far the person walks and where they struggle, and we'll tell you which one is appropriate.
Rent for Weeks, Buy for Years
A knee walker after an ankle injury, or a rollator for six weeks after surgery, is exactly what renting is for. You return it when you are back on your feet rather than storing it in the garage.
Where walking has become permanently harder, buying makes more sense. Refurbished walkers and rollators are among the most affordable things we sell, come with a one year warranty on most equipment, and are adjusted to your height before you leave.

Walker & Rollator Rental FAQs
How much does it cost to rent a walker or rollator?
Rental pricing depends on the type and how long you need it. Call us at 905-615-9302 and we'll recommend the right aid and give you a straightforward quote.
Should I rent or buy a walker?
Rent for a short need such as recovery after surgery or a knee walker for an ankle injury. For an ongoing need, buying costs less: refurbished walkers and rollators are among the most affordable things we sell and come with a one year warranty on most equipment.
What's the difference between a walker and a rollator?
A standard walker has no wheels on the back legs and is lifted and placed with each step, giving maximum stability for someone with poor balance. A rollator rolls on wheels and usually has a seat and hand brakes, which suits someone who walks reasonably well but tires quickly.
Which one is right for me?
As a rule of thumb: if you need to lean your weight on it, choose a walker. If you need somewhere to sit and rest partway, choose a rollator. Tell us how far you can walk and where you struggle and we'll advise.
Can the height be adjusted?
Yes — our walkers and rollators are height adjustable, and we set them correctly at delivery. Handles should sit roughly at wrist level when standing upright with arms relaxed. Wrong height is the most common reason a walking aid feels uncomfortable.
Do they fold for transport and storage?
Yes. Our foldable designs are convenient for travel and storage, and fit into a car for appointments and outings.
How quickly can one be delivered?
Same-day delivery is available across the Greater Toronto Area for most rentals. Call early in the day for priority scheduling.
Is a walker covered by funding in Ontario?
Wheeled walkers are covered by the Ontario Assistive Devices Program at up to 75% for eligible residents, with 100% coverage available for ODSP and Ontario Works recipients. See our funding page or call us to check eligibility.
