Helping You Live Safely and Independently
Funded by the Ontario Government, the HVMP provides financial assistance to eligible Ontario residents with mobility restrictions. The program helps cover the cost of essential modifications to homes and vehicles — such as ramps, stair lifts, roll-in showers, or vehicle adaptations — so individuals can live safely, avoid hospitalization, and participate fully in their communities.
Eligible applicants may receive
- Up to $15,000 lifetime for home modifications
- Up to $15,000 every 10 years for vehicle modifications
Who can apply?
- Ontario residents with a permanent disability that significantly impacts mobility
- Individuals with a household income under $60,000
- Applications must be supported by a therapist and include proof of income and disability
