Funding Programs We Work With
Home & Vehicle Modifications Program (HVMP)
Funded by the Ontario Government, the HVMP provides financial assistance to eligible Ontario residents with mobility restrictions. The program helps cover the cost of essential modifications to homes and vehicles — such as ramps, stair lifts, roll-in showers, and vehicle adaptations.
MD Canada
The MD Canada Equipment Program supports individuals across Canada by helping them access essential medical and mobility equipment. This program is designed to reduce financial barriers for those in need of assistive devices, offering flexible funding options and personalized support.
Ontario Assistive Devices Program (ADP)
The Ontario ADP helps residents with long-term physical disabilities access funding for essential mobility equipment. Through this program, eligible individuals can receive up to 75% coverage on approved devices, with full coverage available for those receiving support from Ontario Works, ODSP, or Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities.
Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)
ODSP provides financial and health-related support to eligible individuals living with disabilities in Ontario. Through its partnership with the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), ODSP recipients can receive 100% coverage for approved mobility and medical equipment, eliminating the standard 25% co-payment required by ADP.
Ontario Works – Assistive Devices Coverage
Ontario Works provides financial assistance to eligible individuals and families in need, including full coverage for mobility and assistive devices through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). If you're receiving Ontario Works support, you may qualify for 100% funding on approved equipment, with no out-of-pocket contribution required.
Spinal Cord Injury Ontario – Equipment Access Programs
Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (SCIO) provides vital support to individuals living with spinal cord injuries by helping them access essential mobility and medical equipment. Through advocacy, service navigation, and community-driven initiatives, SCIO works to bridge the gaps left by traditional funding programs like ADP.
WSIB Ontario – Health Care Equipment & Assistive Devices
The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) provides funding for health care equipment and assistive devices to support workers recovering from work-related injuries or illnesses, including both temporary and long-term mobility solutions.
