Why this one
Three seat heights
Three standard seat heights at 18, 21 and 24 inches, so the rollator matches the user's height.
Wide frames available
Wide and low-wide frames as well, which most rollator ranges do not offer at all.
Room to actually rest
A broader user can sit properly rather than perch, which is the whole point of having a seat.
Fit two ways
Height and width are separate decisions, and this range lets you make them separately.
Built for outdoors
Larger wheels roll over pavement joints and kerb cuts instead of stopping dead at them.
ADP funded
A funded device under the Assistive Devices Program for eligible Ontario residents, subject to criteria.
About this product
The Xpresso 3 is Evolution's Type 3 rollator, and it is unusually adjustable. Alongside the standard seat heights it comes in wide and low-wide frames, so it fits people that a standard rollator does not.
Seat heights and frames
- Mini / Small, 18 inch seat height
- Regular / Medium, 21 inch seat height
- Tall / Large, 24 inch seat height
- Low Wide, 19 inch seat height on a wider frame
- Wide, 22 inch seat height on a wider frame
The wide frames matter. Most rollators offer height adjustment only, so a broader user ends up on a seat too narrow to rest on properly. A wider frame means they can actually sit rather than perch, which is the whole point of having a seat.
Getting the fit right
Sit on it. Feet flat on the floor, knees at roughly a right angle. Handle height adjusts separately and should sit at the crease of your wrist when you stand upright with your arms relaxed.
Height and width are separate decisions, and the Xpresso range lets you make them separately. Tell us the user's height and their hip width measured seated.
What Type 3 means
Larger wheels for real terrain. The Ontario Assistive Devices Program describes the Type 3 wheeled walker as most suitable for active use on most terrains, and bigger wheels roll over pavement joints and kerb cuts rather than stopping dead at them.
If nearly all your walking is indoors, a Type 2 rollator is lighter and turns more easily.

We also stock the Xpresso Lite cable-free version, which removes the external brake cables for a cleaner frame, and the Xpresso Zero. Ask us which suits.
