Toilet Safety Frame
A frame that stands around your toilet giving arms to push up from, without changing the seat height.
Why this one
Support without height
Gives arms to push up from without changing the seat height, which is what many people actually need.
No drilling needed
Stands on the floor around the toilet with no drilling, so it suits rentals and condos.
Fully removable
Comes away entirely, so it can move with the person or be removed when others use the bathroom.
Works with a raised seat
Can be combined with a raised seat, if the toilet is both too low and hard to rise from.
Adjustable arm height
Arm height adjusts, so the person pushes down with elbows bent rather than straight.
Check your floor space
Takes floor space either side of the toilet, so measure before ordering in a narrow bathroom.
About this product
A toilet safety frame stands around your existing toilet and gives you arms to push up from, without changing the seat at all.
Why a frame rather than a raised seat
These solve different problems, and people often buy the wrong one.
If the toilet is too low, a raised seat is the answer. If the difficulty is having nothing to push up from, a frame is the answer.
Many people buy a tall raised seat to solve a strength problem. That adds height they do not need, often lifts the feet clear of the floor, and makes standing less stable. A frame gives the support directly, and it can be used with a raised seat if both problems apply.
How it works
The frame stands on the floor around the toilet, with arms either side at a height you set. Nothing is fixed to the wall, so there is no drilling and no permission needed, which matters in a rental or a condo.
It also comes away entirely, so it can move with the person or be removed when the bathroom is used by someone else.
Setting it up
Set the arm height so the person's forearms rest comfortably and they can push down with their elbows bent, not straight. Set the legs so the frame is level and does not rock, and check it is stable before anyone leans on it.
A frame takes floor space either side of the toilet. Measure before ordering, particularly in a narrow bathroom.
Also worth knowing
If there is a wall beside the toilet, a wall-mounted rail may be neater and takes no floor space. We stock those too.
