Soft rather than hard
Every other raised seat in this category is moulded plastic. This one is foam, which changes who it suits.
Someone thin or frail, or with sensitive skin, finds a hard plastic seat genuinely uncomfortable, particularly if they sit for a while. Foam spreads the pressure and is warmer to sit on, which sounds minor until you have used a cold plastic seat on a winter morning.
Two inches, and why that is often enough
Two inches raises a standard toilet from about 15 to 17 inches. That is a modest change and often all that is needed, and it keeps the feet solidly on the floor, which taller seats can compromise.
If someone needs a great deal of help to stand, this is not the answer. It gives height, not support, and there is nothing to push up from.
Straps on, straps off
Four hook and loop straps hold it to the existing seat, so it fits without tools and comes off in seconds. In a shared bathroom that matters, and it also means it can travel with someone to a family member's house or a holiday.
Cleaning
The vinyl cover wipes clean. Check it periodically for splits, since a damaged cover cannot be cleaned reliably and foam underneath will absorb.
