Socks men will actually wear
Men are often told to wear compression after surgery, for long flights, or for tired legs from standing work, and a lot of them simply do not. The usual reason is that the socks look medical and will not pass under a suit trouser or with normal clothes.
These are argyles and stripes in ordinary sock colours. Worn with a suit or with jeans, nobody would know they are compression, which is the entire point. Compression that stays in a drawer does nothing.
Microfibre
Soft against the skin and less obviously elastic-looking than standard compression knit. It also suits anyone who finds firmer knits scratchy over a long day.
15-20 mmHg
The mild everyday level. It suits tired and aching legs, mild swelling at the end of the day, long flights, and long days on your feet.
