Sea Island cotton is a long staple cotton, spun finer and softer than ordinary cotton. In a compression sock that matters more than it would in an ordinary one.
Compression garments are worn tight, all day, against the skin. Synthetic knits can feel hot and can irritate anyone with sensitive or fragile skin, and that discomfort is a common reason people stop wearing compression that they need.

Getting the size right
Sizing is by ankle and calf circumference and calf length, measured in the morning before swelling builds through the day.
Too tight at the top and the band digs in and acts like a tourniquet. Too loose and it does nothing. Come in and we will measure you properly.
Caring for them
Wash after each wearing and dry away from direct heat. Replace every three to six months with regular wear, since the elastic tires and stops delivering the compression on the label.
