Sigvaris 120 Sheer Fashion, a 15-20 mmHg knee high for women. It is the sheerest compression sock we stock, made to look like an ordinary sheer stocking rather than a medical garment.
Why sheer matters
A lot of people are prescribed or recommended compression and then do not wear it, because it looks like hospital equipment and does not go with what they wear.
Compression only works when it is on the leg. A sock that gets worn every day at 15-20 mmHg does far more good than a firmer one that stays in a drawer.
This one is designed to be worn with a skirt or a dress without announcing itself, which for many women is the difference between a garment they use and one they resent.
15-20 mmHg
The mild, everyday level. It suits tired and aching legs, mild swelling at the end of the day, long flights, long shifts standing, and pregnancy.
If a doctor has recommended a firmer level for varicose veins or venous disease, ask us about the 20-30 mmHg options instead.

The letters refer to leg measurements, not shoe size.
Getting the size right
Sizing is by ankle and calf circumference and calf length. Measure in the morning, before swelling builds through the day.
Too tight at the top and the band digs in and acts like a tourniquet. Too loose and it does nothing. Come in and we will measure you properly.
Wearing them
Put them on first thing, before the legs swell. Replace every three to six months with regular wear, since the elastic tires and stops delivering the compression on the label.
