About this product
A reducer ring sits on an ordinary toilet and narrows the opening, so a small child can use the toilet securely. This is the version shaped for elongated bowls.
What it solves
An adult toilet opening is very large relative to a toddler, and an elongated bowl is larger still. A child who feels unstable on it, or who has slipped once, will often refuse the toilet altogether, and that can set toilet training back by months.
A reducer ring gives them an opening that fits, so they can sit securely and concentrate on what they are doing rather than on staying put.
Portable, which matters more than it sounds
This is a portable seat rather than a fixed fitting. A child who is confident on their own toilet and refuses an unfamiliar one is a very common problem, and carrying their own seat solves it.
