Sunrise Medical's Quickie Q-series covers three mid wheel drive power bases, and we supply all of them from this listing. Mid wheel drive puts the driving wheels under the middle of the chair, so it turns about its own centre rather than swinging one end around. That is what makes these chairs manageable indoors.
Which base
The Q300 M Mini is the narrowest true mid wheel drive chair on the market, with a base width of 20.5 inches and a turning radius of just 17 inches. It is the indoor specialist, for flats, narrow hallways and anyone whose home has doorways that defeat a standard power chair.
The Q500 M is the all-rounder, and the right answer for most people who need one chair for everything. It handles a full day across indoor and outdoor use, with more power and range than the Q300 M while staying compact enough for lifts and tight corners.
The Q700 M is built for outdoor performance, with heavier suspension for rough ground and uneven pavement. It is wider than the Q500 M, so it trades some indoor manoeuvrability for capability outside.
Seating
Sedeo Pro seating is used across the range, offering a wide span of adjustment for posture and comfort. The Q700 M can also take Sedeo Ergo, Sunrise's clinical seating system, which supports the body through position changes and allows a much deeper powered recline for someone who needs to lie back fully.
