Eight memory positions

About this product
The Q6 Edge 3 is Quantum's mainstream mid wheel drive power base, and the platform most of their complex rehab seating is built on. Mid wheel drive turns about the centre of the chair rather than swinging one end around, which is what makes it manageable indoors, while the suspension and ground clearance keep it usable outside.
Seat elevation that still drives
The iLevel option raises the seat up to 12 inches, and the chair keeps driving at 4.5 mph while elevated. That is the detail that matters. A seat that only elevates when stationary is a reaching aid; one that drives at walking pace changes how someone moves through a room, holds a conversation and uses a kitchen. Quantum's Extra Stability Technology is what makes driving while raised safe.
Ride
The upgraded SRS suspension is tuned for stability as much as comfort, which on a mid wheel drive chair matters when crossing thresholds and kerb cuts where the drive wheels can otherwise lose contact.
Seating
The base takes three seating platforms. TRU-Balance Flex is the static option at no charge. TRU-Balance 3 covers standard power positioning. TRU-Balance 4 adds power anterior tilt at 10, 20 or 30 degrees, up to eight memory seating positions, and an articulating foot platform that lowers to help with transfers. Anterior tilt, tipping the seat forward rather than back, assists standing transfers and helps someone get their weight over their feet.
