About this product
The Rogue2 is Ki Mobility's flagship rigid chair. It is built from oversized 7000 series aluminum tubing, which lets the frame be lighter, stronger and stiffer at the same time, and stiffness is what makes a rigid chair feel responsive: nothing in the frame absorbs the push, so the chair goes where it is pointed.
Where it differs from most rigid chairs is that the adjustment can be done without taking the chair apart. Back angle, back height, rear seat height and centre of gravity all adjust in place. The rear seat height is indexed, so both sides land on matching positions rather than being eyeballed, and Ki's dimple track keeps the camber tube square while the centre of gravity is moved. For a chair that gets re-tuned as someone's needs change, that is the difference between an adjustment being a five minute job and a workshop visit.
The relax backrest
The backrest is set to a chosen angle, then opens a further 4 or 9 degrees on demand. That makes pressure relief, dressing and repositioning much easier without losing the setup underneath, and it is unusual on a rigid frame at this weight.
