Features & Benefits

Why this one

Modular and changeable

Sections bolt together, so the ramp can be lengthened if the slope proves too steep, reconfigured, or dismantled and moved to another property.

Fits the entrance

Platforms and turns let a long run double back or follow the house, rather than running straight out from a door.

Level at the door

The entry and exit section gives a level area to stop and open a door without holding position on a slope.

No lip to catch

A transition plate bridges the gap where the ramp meets the ground or a threshold, so a small castor is not stopped by an edge.

About this product

QRamp is a modular ramp. It is built from sections that bolt together, so a ramp can be assembled to suit an entrance, lengthened later, reconfigured if the entrance changes, or dismantled and moved to another property.

The components

The sloping section (M1) does the climbing. Ramp length is set by the rise, the vertical height from the ground to the surface you are getting onto. The guideline is about one foot of ramp for every inch of rise, so a 24 inch rise needs roughly 24 feet of sloping run.

The 90 degree platform (M3) is a level landing that turns the run, so a long ramp can double back or follow the front of the house. The entry and exit section (M4) is the end of the run, giving a level area at the door and a correct meeting point with the ground. The transition plate (M6) bridges the lip where the ramp meets the ground or a door threshold so a castor is not caught.

Components, not a complete ramp

Each item below is a component. A working ramp needs the right combination of sections, level landings, a transition plate and handrails, and the right layout matters for safety. A ramp that is too steep, or that lacks a level landing at a door, is dangerous rather than merely inconvenient.

Getting it right

Tell us the rise and the space available and we will work out which components your ramp needs. We survey before quoting.
