About this product
The Bellavita Dive is a powered bath lift that sits inside your existing bathtub. You sit on it at rim height, swing your legs in, and a floating handset lowers you into the water. When you are finished it raises you back to the rim so you can transfer off. No plumbing, no electrical work and no tools.
It goes properly low
The seat lowers to 2.6 inches from the tub floor, which is the lowest of any bath lift on the market, and the backrest reclines to 50 degrees at its lowest position. That combination is what turns it from a seat you perch on into a genuine bath, with the water actually covering you.
For someone using a bath for pain, stiffness or warmth, that depth is the entire point. A lift that leaves you sitting above the waterline does not deliver it.
Light enough to move
At 21.8 lbs it is the lightest bath lift available, the backrest folds down and comes off, and the whole thing is two pieces. So it can be lifted out when someone else wants the bath, stored between uses, or taken on a trip. Most bath lifts stay where they are put because moving them is too much work.
Comfort and control
The seat is large with a hygiene cutout, so washing is possible without excessive reaching or shifting. The handset floats, so if it is dropped in the water it can simply be picked up again. A dual column design carries up to 300 lbs.
Please check your tub before ordering
The lift anchors with four quick-release suction cups, and suction cups grip smooth surfaces only. If your bathtub floor is textured, or has a moulded non-slip pattern, the cups may not hold, which is a safety hazard rather than an inconvenience.
Check the tub floor, and tell us what you find. If it is textured we will discuss alternatives rather than sell you a lift that cannot be secured.
