About this product
The Victory 10.2 is Pride's mid-size four wheel scooter and the one most people end up on. Four wheels give it stability on kerb cuts, slopes and uneven pavement, and a 400 lb capacity with up to 13.5 miles of range covers a full day out rather than a quick errand.
Four wheels or three
The same scooter is made as a three wheeler. Four wheels are steadier outdoors and feel more secure at speed. Three turn far more tightly, which matters in shops and indoors. This four wheel version turns in about 52 inches, so it is an outdoor scooter that manages indoors rather than the other way round.
About the disassembly, honestly
Pride's feather-touch disassembly breaks the scooter into pieces without tools, and it works well. But the heaviest single piece is around 64 lbs. That is a real weight to lift into a car boot and more than many people can manage alone. If the scooter needs to travel by car regularly, come and try lifting the pieces before you buy, or look at a lighter travel scooter instead. We would rather you found that out in the showroom than at home.
Everyday details that matter
The delta tiller has wraparound handles, so it can be driven with either hand or with limited grip. A USB port charges a phone, and the tiller-mounted charger port means you can charge without removing batteries. LED headlights, a pathway light and a puddle light help in poor light. The seat swivels and slides, which makes getting on and off far easier than climbing over a fixed seat. Storage runs to a front basket, a hidden compartment and a cup holder.
