It saves the parent's back
The legs raise the seat from 2 inches up to 17 inches off the tub floor. That is a very wide range, and it exists for the carer rather than the child.
Bathing a child from your knees on a bathroom floor, leaning over a tub wall, is how parents injure their backs. It gets worse every year as the child grows heavier. Raising the seat lets the parent work at a sensible height, standing or perched rather than kneeling and reaching.
Anyone who has done this daily will recognise why that matters more than almost any other feature.
Positioned in seconds
The backrest angle adjusts from 0 to 90 degrees using hand levers, so the child can be fully upright, fully reclined, or anywhere between. The leg support angle adjusts separately.
The adjustments are quick and deliberately simple, because a position that takes effort to change does not get changed, and the right angle for washing hair is not the right angle for washing a body.
Support around the child
An adjustable hip belt gives pelvic support, and a chest belt with integrated lateral supports holds the trunk. Those attach to the adjustable backrest, so support moves with the position rather than fighting it.
Made for a wet room and a washing machine
An aluminium and polymer frame that will not rust, with non-slip footings that protect the tub and stop the chair sliding. The fabric is soft breathable mesh, so water runs through rather than pooling, and it removes for machine washing at 60°C.
Becoming a shower chair
An optional Shower Trolley converts any of the four sizes into a wheeled shower chair in seconds, raising the seat to around 26 to 28 inches, with swivel castors for tight shower stalls.
