About this product
The Human Care Cosmos is a small, light ceiling lift motor used to move a person from bed, chair or bath with less physical strain on the caregiver. It clips onto an overhead rail, so the person is lifted and moved along the track instead of being carried or pivoted by hand.
It can stay fixed in one room or be carried to another rail, which suits families who need a lift in more than one place but do not want a motor in every room. The hand control and central unit are rated for use in humid and wet areas, so it can be used for bathing and showering where the rail reaches.
