Tabs rather than pull-on

These fasten at the sides, so they can be changed with the person lying down, without standing them up or working anything over their feet.

That is what makes them practical where a carer is helping, or where the person spends the night in bed and cannot easily stand. It also means a change at 3am is quicker and less disruptive for both people.

Sizing and skin

This is the medium. Size by hip and waist measurement, and fix the fit before moving up an absorbency level, since a brief that is too large leaks at the legs whatever its capacity.

Change promptly in the morning and use gentle wipes and a barrier cream. Overnight is the longest stretch skin faces in a day.
