The Drive Solite Pro is a fully electric profiling homecare bed for use at home. The backrest, knee break and bed height are all moved from a handset, so the person in the bed or the person caring for them can change position without lifting or pushing.
Built for the home
The bed comes apart into sections that each weigh less than 55 lbs, and it nests with a built-in transport stand. That makes it practical to bring up stairs, through narrow doorways and into a bedroom, and to move again if care needs change or the bed is returned. A tool-free leg extension takes the platform from 80 to 84 inches for taller users.
Comfort and safety
The redesigned platform is shaped for comfort when the bed profiles, and the backrest auto-regresses as it rises so the person is not pinched around the sacral area. Four braked castors let the bed be repositioned for cleaning or care and then locked in place. The handset has a lockout function, so settings can be fixed when the person in the bed should not change them.
Rails and accessories
Full-length side rails and standard or short grab handles are available as options. The rail accessories are designed to meet FDA and ASTM entrapment guidelines. Which rails suit depends on the person's mobility and the care routine, and we can talk this through when you arrange a bed.
