About this product
The Arjo Sara Stedy is a standing and transfer aid for people who can bear some weight through their legs but need help to get up and move short distances, for example from a bed or chair to the toilet or a wheelchair. It is non-powered, so the caregiver supports the person to stand and wheels them across, rather than lifting them with a sling.
It suits people who can take part in the transfer, and it is often used to encourage a person to keep standing regularly rather than staying seated. It is a good fit for a caregiver at home who is tired of manual transfers and wants something steady that one person can use.
It comes in two sizes. The Standard suits taller users and the Compact suits shorter users, so the right one is chosen by the person's height.
