Ontario Works – Assistive Devices Coverage (1)
Ontario Works provides financial assistance to eligible individuals and families in need, including full coverage for mobility and assistive devices through the Assistive Devices Program (ADP). If you're receiving Ontario Works support, you may qualify for 100% funding on approved equipment, with no out-of-pocket contribution required.
Devices covered include:
- Manual and power wheelchairs
- Mobility scooters
- Walkers and pediatric mobility aids
- Power add-ons for manual wheelchairs
- Positioning devices (e.g., cushions, tilt and recline systems)
- Forearm crutches and standers
- Visual, hearing, respiratory, and communication aids
Ontario Works also covers the cost of assessments when needed to determine eligibility for assistive devices, ensuring access to the right equipment without financial barriers.
