Ontario Assistive Devices Program (ADP) (1)
The Ontario ADP helps residents with long-term physical disabilities access funding for essential mobility equipment. Through this program, eligible individuals can receive up to 75% coverage on approved devices, with full coverage available for those receiving support from Ontario Works, ODSP, or Assistance for Children with Severe Disabilities.
Devices covered include:
- Manual wheelchairs
- Power wheelchairs
- Power scooters
- Power add-ons for manual wheelchairs
- Positioning devices (e.g., cushions, back and head supports, tilt and recline systems)
- Wheeled walkers and pediatric mobility aids
- Forearm crutches and standers
This program is designed to enhance independence and improve quality of life by making mobility solutions more accessible.
